How to use The Ick

It takes about a minute. Here is the whole flow on the web app, which works on any phone or computer, plus the Android app notes.

Try it on any public profile

@

1. Search a profile

Go to theick.io and type the Instagram username you want to track, without the @. The profile must be public. The Ick runs a quick analysis and shows the profile's recent follows.

2. Subscribe to keep tracking

To keep the profile under watch and get notifications, choose a weekly or yearly plan. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Prices are on the pricing page. If you already have a subscription from the Android app, sign in with the same Google account and it carries over.

3. Sign in

Sign in with Google or Apple. This creates your account and links the subscription. You never enter Instagram credentials.

4. Add more profiles

From the dashboard, tap Add profile to track up to 5 public profiles at the same time. Each one is checked every hour.

5. Turn on notifications

Accept the notification prompt in your browser, or add theick.io to your iPhone home screen and enable notifications from there. On Android, notifications are on by default in the app.

6. Read the feed

The What's new tab lists every detected change: new follow, new follower, unfollow, count change. Open a profile to see its last follows, last followers and activity history. A NEW badge marks accounts detected since your last visit.

Tips

  • If a profile turns private, tracking pauses until it becomes public again.
  • Data starts at your first check. The Ick cannot show follows from before you added the profile.
  • To cancel, open Settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
