A follower count on its own is a number that jumps around. What matters is what happened behind it: who followed, who left, and when. The Ick records the follower and following counts of every tracked profile each hour and pairs each change with the accounts responsible, so you get a growth history you can actually read.

Counts plus the accounts behind them

Most follower count trackers show a line chart and nothing else. The Ick shows the history of both counts and, for each hour where something moved, the new followers, lost followers, new follows and unfollows that explain the move. That makes it useful for tracking a creator's growth, watching a competitor, or keeping an eye on a profile you care about personally.

Works on any public profile

You do not need to own the account or log in. Enter a public username and The Ick starts building its history from the first check. Private accounts cannot be tracked because their data is not public.

Notifications when it matters

Rather than checking a dashboard, you get a push notification when a tracked profile gains or loses followers or follows someone new. Track up to 5 profiles at once on the web or in the Android app.

Frequently asked questions

How often is the follower count updated?
Every tracked profile is checked once an hour. Each check records the follower count, the following count and any accounts that were added or removed.
Can I track my own follower growth?
Yes. If your account is public, add your own username and The Ick tracks your growth and shows who followed and unfollowed you, without needing your password.
Can I track a competitor or a brand?
Yes, any public profile works, including businesses and creators. Many people track a few accounts in their niche to compare growth.
Is historical data available from before I started tracking?
No. Instagram does not expose history, so The Ick's timeline starts at your first check and grows from there.
How many profiles can I track?
Up to 5 profiles at the same time with one subscription.
