The official The Ick app

The Ick is made by Vaste Company and lives in exactly two places: the web app at theick.io and the Android app on Google Play. Several apps and websites reuse the name. This page lists what is ours so you can check before you pay.

How to recognise the official app

• The website is theick.io. No other domain, including theick.ai or the-ick.app, is operated by us.
• On Google Play the package is com.vaste.insta.tracker and the developer name is Vaste Company.
• We never ask for your Instagram username and password. The product only reads public data.
• Prices are published on our pricing page and shown before you pay. Support is at support@theick.io.

Not affiliated with The Ick

The following use our name or a close variation but are not made, endorsed or supported by us. We list them so you are not charged for something you thought was ours.

• theick.ai: a separate website whose own disclaimer states it is not affiliated with theick.io. It links to an App Store app published by a different developer.
• "The Ick - Recent Follow Tracker" on the Apple App Store: published by an individual developer unrelated to Vaste Company, with its own subscriptions. Reviews and refunds for it are handled by Apple and that developer.
• Any Chrome extension, Telegram bot or download site using the name.

Why there is no App Store app right now

The Ick was originally an iPhone app. It is not currently listed on the Apple App Store, which is why lookalikes have appeared there. Everything the iOS app did is available in the web app at theick.io, including hourly tracking, notifications and the same account, and the Android app is unchanged. If you paid for an App Store app that uses our name, that purchase went to its developer, not to us, and Apple can refund it at reportaproblem.apple.com.
